Fridge & Freezer Efficiency

Not only are all the fridges & freezers in our current range free of harmful CFCs and HFCs, but the majority of our appliances come with an A+ rating. Some of our new range have become even more energy effi cient an boast an energy rating of A++. Many of our fridges can achieve the same storage temperatures as your local supermarket, allowing you to keep fresh fruit and vegetables at peak freshness for longer periods of time.

Most of our models have electronic controls so it's easy to maintain the exact temperature in the fridge at a glance. This means also you can operate the SuperFreeze function when you're freezing fresh food to lower the temperature for more rapid freezing. The SuperCool function can be used when you've done your weekly shop and are putting a lot of food into the fridge. By operating SuperCool, you are preventing the increase in temperature you'd normally expect when you add a large amount of fresh food. Once the food is cold, the temperature automatically reverts to the appropriate setting. Openings at the back of the drawers on some models can be altered to control the fl ow of air and retain moisture.

Frost free freezers react to any signs of frost automatically, so it never has a chance to build up. With a frost free freezer air is blown from the back wall and circulates over the items in the freezer. As a result, there is no condensation or build up of frost and food does not freeze together. This means you don't have to spend time with defrosting, allowing time for other things.
